Rasam Poondu Rasam

Elixir of life is water but life is bore without an authentic rasam . Rasam is elixir for  digestion.


Ingredients:

Tamarind (size of an Amla)
Turmeric powder  1/4 tsp
Pepper and Jeera powder (1tbsp)
Tomato 2/3
Red Chillies 3-4
Mustard
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Garlic pods 5-6 un peeled and squashed
Oil
salt

How to Do :

Tamarind water and add turmeric powder and squash in tomatoes in the tamarind juice.

Light the fire , place a pan and add oil wait for mustard seeds to crackle and add curry leaves  add in the chillies saute it in medium flame add garlic and pour the tamarind water with tomatoes and turmeric powder. add jeera and pepper powder, salt add chopped coriander leaves before rasam boils and stop rasam when u see small bubbles on surface
